First let's look back at 2025 that brought some important changes.
- new presentation of START and WEBRES in a responsive look
- new server to handle the growing load, especially by bots..
The numbers show more activities, but less people.
- number of races: 654 (+20)
- organising clubs: 169 (+3)
- distinct runners: 28059 (-720)
- participations: 84845 (-2129)
- countries: 5 (-1)
- runner's nationalities: 66 (+5)

In the graphics we see that Brazil is still number 1 with more than 40000 (40614) participants, followed by Belgium with 36536 (also up).

Looking at the Top 5 events last year, we see a big sucess with 3 sprint/urban races in Belgium and Brazil!

Soon we'll reach a very nice milestone with 1 million results on Webres. Not sure how many other orienteering databases contain more than 20 years of race history!
On the technical side too there will finally be a version for MS Access in 64 Bits, using a "work-around" with the SI-Reader application. Stay tuned!
