How to find out the COM port used for the Emit unit 250 (or MTR), or the SPORTident BSF7 station?

: My Computer - Properties - Device Manager

: COM1 Standard Port
COM2 USB adapter
COM3 SPORTIdent BSF7 connection

On n'a pas l'occasion de faire tous les jours des vérifications aussi surprenantes. !!

Ce pc tourne sous XP, toutes les prises USB sont "en direct" (= pas de hub) et tout fonctionne sans même avoir relancé le pc après les branchements..

et il me reste encore un port série disponible !!
